A morning of free dental care at Fort Hamer Dental Care, Parrish, for patients who have been put on hold due to concerns about the resurgence of COVID-19 returns September 18.

A morning of free dental care for patients that had been suspended due to concerns over the resurgence of COVID-19 is back.

“We were able to put safety protocols in place and will have our free dental day this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon,” said Jessica DelPrete, dental office manager at Fort Hamer Dental, 12106 US 301 N., Parrish in an e -mail Monday.

“I apologize for the back and forth, but we wanted to make sure we are serving our community while being able to keep staff and patients safe,” she said.

Dr. Chu Lee, Dr. Christine Kerrigan and their team at Fort Hamer Dental Care will provide free dental care including cleanings, fillings and extractions. People without dental insurance can call for an appointment at 941-212-2705 or visit https://FreeDentistryDay.org.
