The Ferris State University Dental Hygiene Clinic will be hosting free Children’s Dental Clinic sessions in March and April for children ages 13 and up. Ferris students and local dentists will perform simple procedures and educate children and their parents about dental health.

BIG RAPIDS – For parents looking to save money on their child’s dental checkups, Ferris State University’s Dental Hygiene Clinic will be offering free Children’s Dental Clinic sessions in March and April.

The university is hosting its Children’s Dental Clinic which serves children up to age 13 with cleaning, x-rays, as well as sealants that will be half price per tooth this week at the Ferris State University Dental Hygiene Clinic. , 200 Ferris Dr. in Big Rapids.

In order to participate, parents must make an appointment for their child through the clinic. Session availability hours are 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15 and 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 17. Interested parents can call the office at 231-591-2260 to check availability and appointment times.

The University Dental Hygiene Clinic will be offering another free clinic for children from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11; 5-9pm Tuesday April 12; and from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday April 13.
