Free Brewers Dental Clinic for Kids

Going to the dentist isn’t always fun, but let’s say your dentist’s office is in American Family Field, that might not be so bad. A free dental clinic helps children in need.

“I like when they clean it up and when they fall off you make money,” said 5-year-old Amora Jones. She has her priorities when it comes to her teeth.

She is one of three hundred children from the Boys and Girls Club and the Children’s Outing Association to have dental appointments on Thursday, free of charge.

“Some of these kids, in many cases, have never been to the dentist. Never been at all. They can come in at six, eight, 10 and never have been to the dentist,” Team Smile Exec said. Director John McCarthy.

Whether the kids come in for dental hygiene advice, a typical cleaning or even a filling, everyone walks out with a brighter smile.

“I hope to nurture them and educate them and make it fun and I hope they brush their teeth a little better at the end of the day,” Leah Forseth said.

This was all made possible thanks to the Brewers Foundation, Delta Dental and Team Smile.

“All of these volunteers will not only be able to put a smile on children’s faces, but be able to genuinely help them. It’s a great feeling to be able to serve others and make a difference in a child’s life” , McCarthy said.
