Actress Mahima Chaudhry and her teenage daughter Ariana were spotted in Mumbai as they stepped out for a dentist appointment.
A paparazzo, sharing the photos on Instagram, noted that the mother and daughter were out shopping. Speaking to the comments section, Mahima corrected him and said they went out for a dentist appointment instead. She wrote, “No shopping Yogen. We were at the dentist. Ariana fell and broke a tooth.”
While Mahima wore knee-length jeans and a t-shirt, Ariana wore a combination of black sweatpants and t-shirt. They had their face masks on.
Mahima made headlines after speaking to Bollywood Bubble recently. She had mentioned a career-threatening accident in Bangalore and how Ajay Devgn had helped her. It was the last day of filming his Dil Kya Kare in Bangalore. She was on her way to filming when a milk van hit her car and crushed her in a roundabout. While Mahima didn’t break any bones, his face was injured. “The glass came like bullets in my face,” she had said.
She explained how she prepared for a life after acting as she saw no hope of returning to acting after her face was scarred from the accident. She noted how few people in the media managed to “take a picture” of her and wrote “Mahima had an accident and she has scars on her face, we can finally call her scarface.” However, it was her producers, Ajay Devgn and Kajol, who made sure the industry didn’t find out. “Ajay and Kajol, who were my producers, made sure no one in the industry knew about it. At that point, it would have devastated my career.”

She discussed many other incidents from her days in the industry, including the time she was dumped from Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya without being told.
Mahima started his career in 1997 with Pardes and went on to work in films like Dil Kya Kare, Dhadkan and Dil Hai Tumhaara. She was a single mother to Ariana after her divorce.
